When I was a kid, Tony Hart the TV artist, was my absolute hero. I used to dream about having a job like his when I grew up, and now it’s actually happened – kind of!

This week I was invited to chat, read extracts and do loads of live doodling around my Maddy Yip series. Janice Forsyth presented in front of a fantastic studio audience from Westerton school, along with dozens of other schools via streaming. Thanks to the brilliant crew at BBC Scotland and Scottish Book Trust for a excellent and fun live TV event.
