I’ve been an Empathy Lab member for four years, integrating empathy learning into my school sessions. Serious science goes on behind the work they do, for their mission to teach empathy skills to the next generations through reading.

At Empathy Lab’s 10th birthday party at the Artworkers’ Guild, London, I met Imogen Bond, the new MD taking over Miranda’s job, and a whole bunch of other fellow ELab educators (including author/artist Jion Sheibani above).

Currently, there’s around 250 people involved and the message reaches up to a million kids. Empathy Lab are aiming for 2 million kids next year, so if you’re a teacher, librarian, children’s book creator, check out their training courses and get on board!
